There are two kinds of sloppiness: a sloppy mind, and sloppy living. Having a sloppy mind means we are disorganized and have no plans. As for sloppy living, there are two kinds: the wealthy might lead dissipated and disordered lives, indulging in debauchery, while the poor may live messy lives. Adaptability is different than sloppiness in that we work hard, knowing what our goal and direction are. When we work hard but still cannot reach our goal, then we make some change and adjust our plans but still keep our eye on the goal or main direction.
